The Mission of First Baptist Church of Denver

We at First Baptist are a Christian Community of Faith – growing, caring, daring to love and be God’s people in the world. The purpose of this church is the advancement of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. It shall seek to attain this end through the public worship of God, the preaching of the Gospel, consistent Christian living by its members, personal evangelism, missionary outreach and Christian education.

The mission and ministry of First Baptist Church of Denver, exclusive of any and all other purposes and activities is to provide regular services of worship, opportunities to educate our members and all others as to the Christian faith and its religious practice and to engage in mission endeavors of any and all kinds. In this process, we will teach and preach the gospel and provide encouragement and assistance, both material and spiritual to the homeless, indigent, aged, sick and otherwise needy.
